What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Host position at Downstream Casino Resort?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes and maintains the good will of our AEP / VP customers based on personal knowledge of the individual.
- Represents management at special events.
- Greets and hosts customers.
- Assists in planning special events and particularly in developing invitation lists for special events.
- Organizes and participates in off-property functions such as dinners, cocktail parties, gold tournaments, etc.
- Is responsible for developing incremental trips for gaming patrons.
- Keeps abreast of competitive promotional methods. Provides compliments for gaming customers in accordance with program qualifications.
- Assists hotel with Diamond, VIP and Seven Stars check in, check out, room assignments and guest room key dispersion.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
- Conveys terms of programs and explains qualifications and requirements to prospective gaming customer.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of background investigation and drug screening.
