Job Description
As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that every guest has a pleasant dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests at their tables and ensuring their needs are met.
- Returning to each assigned table periodically to check on guests and offer additional items as needed.
- Serving food and beverages to guests where appropriate.
- Ushering guests to their tables.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies, and providing exceptional customer service to all patrons.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- Prior food server experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of menu prices and composition of food and beverage menu items, daily specials, and proper placing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Able to lift trays with food above shoulder level and tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
Additionally, you must be a team player, able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
