Job Title:
A Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for safely and efficiently retrieving vehicles from guests, completing valet tickets, and providing excellent customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Retrieves vehicles from guests and completes valet tickets.
- Parks vehicles in appropriate areas and gives car keys and valet tickets to the Valet Dispatcher.
- Handles guest vehicles safely and cautiously at all times.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and maintains a professional work environment.
- Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Assists in other projects as directed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with minimal Department of Motor Vehicles points system required.
- Previous valet parking experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical, Mental, and Work Demands:
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Light lifting required.
- Must be able to run at a good pace while retrieving vehicles from the Valet lot.
