Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Journeyman Auto Body Technician with their own tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency in using hand tools, and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM of 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Duties

• Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform auto body repairs including assembling, welding, and sheet metal work
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for repairs..
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to understand repair orders

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems.
• Proficient in auto body repair techniques and processes.
• Skilled in welding and soldering for structural repairs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repair processes.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Familiarity with using various hand tools specific to auto body work.
• ICAR CERTIFIED, WELDING CERTIFIED PREFFERED

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
