Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the hospitality or food industry is required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is an advantage.
- Experience working in a nightclub or similar fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, particularly upselling strategies, is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
