What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier / Barista at Downtown Cafe: Monday-Friday from 8:00-1:00 WEEKENDS and Holidays OFF position at Downtown Deli?
We're seeking an experienced individual with skills in cashiering (CLOVER POS), making espresso drinks, light food prep (including knife skills), and assisting with customer flow.
Set Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
We’re open 5 days a week (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and closed on weekends and major holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take care of customers taking orders at the register / handing out orders
- Assist with kitchen operations and food distribution
- Interact with customers
- Prepare coffee drinks
- Help with food prep (fruit cups, yogurt parfaits, acai bowls, etc.)
- Contribute to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations
Location: Downtown (please note, our building does not provide free parking. The best way to commute is via public transportation; the trolley stops right next to our building. If you're a reliable team member, we can arrange parking within the building's parking structure.)
