Overview
We are seeking a dependable and confident Line/Prep Kitchen Staff to join our kitchen. We have a popular fast casual restaurant that is open daily with varying hours from 11AM until 8PM. Seeking to add to our staff and comfortable working alongside the owner of the restaurant. Employees tend to make $2-$3 more per hour in addition to hourly wages from tips we earn from providing amazing customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a background in food service and kitchen operations, with a focus on food safety and preparation. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our menu offerings.
Duties include:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of various dishes while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Work well in a highly stressful environment.
- Cleaning dishes, countertops, surfaces, tables, etc.
- Follow instructions
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, slicers, and other food preparation tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of techniques and food handling practices is essential, specifically in food safety and cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
