Job Summary: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain properties and facilities equipment according
to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms;
climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl - The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee continually works near moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration
- Employee must be aware of what Personal Protective Equipment to wear for each job
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain properties and equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment as well as performing scheduled maintenance repairs
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and maintenance equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Education/Experience:
- Requires a high school diploma/GED, or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience
