Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and with exceptional service. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and bartenders to maintain a clean and organized dining environment, contributing to an outstanding dining experience for our customers.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the bar efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete before serving to guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the bar areas, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.
- Restock bar as needed and when specified by bartenders.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a Food Runner is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A team player who can help create a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff.
- Ability to stand and walk for hours at a time, moving up and down stairs.
