What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Check-In Assistant position at Doxa Church?
Position Title: Kids Check-In Assistant
Reports To: Kids Discipleship Director
Employment Status: Part Time, Hourly (18 hrs/week)
Summary: This role oversees and coordinates Kids Check-In for all of Doxa Kids. This is done by planning technological and systemic development, coordinating with staff and volunteers, and serving hands-on as needed.
Qualifications:
- Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing, personal relationship with Him.
- Be a member of Doxa Church and wholeheartedly embrace the doctrine, mission and worship philosophy of Doxa.
- This person must be humble, loyal, trustworthy, flexible, detail-oriented, able to hold confidences and have a servant's heart. In addition, this individual must be able to comprehend and implement the vision and initiatives of Doxa Church and possess excellent clerical, organizational, and computer skills with good interpersonal competencies.
- Availability to work Sundays and special events, including but not limited to, Kids Camp (May-June), Easter, and Christmas.
Experience or Education:
- Planning Center or Basic IT experience
- Volunteer Leading/Management
Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:
- Works alongside Doxa Kids Director to create smooth and rewarding check-in experiences for families.
- Plan and prepare for Sunday services (Equipment prepared, Stations supplied, Communication needs met, etc)
- Oversee and operate within Kids Check-In Team.
- Scheduling and coordinating with volunteers.
- Train and equip Kids Check-In Volunteers.
- Works alongside Doxa Kids Staff with the planning and operating special service elements (Easter, Christmas, Prayer & Worship Night, etc).
- Work alongside Kids Operations Coordinate to maintain various Planning Center systems.
- Other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Salary : $18 - $22
