Position Title: Payables Coordinator
Reports To: Finance Director
Employment Status: Part Time non-exempt (24 - 29 hours weekly)
Summary: The payables coordinator will provide part-time support working alongside the Finance Director, and be responsible for administrative responsibilities as assigned, fulfilling together the mission and upholding the pillars of Doxa Church.

Primary Strengths/Gifts/Experience Required:
- Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy in volume processing and proofreading
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
- Team-player orientation and strong desire to support other team members as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
- QuickBooks or related general ledger software experience desirable
- Ability to learn and adapt to online software (current: Expensify, Planning Center, Google Suite, ASANA, Slack)
- Must be trustworthy and able to hold confidences with conversations and information
- 2-3 years relevant experience preferred
- Able and willing to work in flexible environment under challenging deadlines
Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:
- Thorough review and processing of payables, vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, tracking recurring bills, and liaising with various departments to resolve any discrepancies
- QuickBooks Data Entry: Add expenses and transactions; learn to run and read basic reports
- Assist with budget preparation and transition at fiscal year end
- Compile data using QuickBooks reports and other reports as necessary for weekly cash flow and fund balancing
- Monthly reconciliation of petty cash
- Assist Finance Director with offering/donation tasks (as needed), such as, record offering, enter journal entries for designated funds, reconciliation and review
- Assist donors with giving questions (online, checks, charitable donations, etc.)
- Maintain the offering volunteers schedule and communicate with them weekly
- Assist as needed with other bookkeeping or administrative finance team tasks
Salary : $22 - $27
