Job Summary
We’re seeking a reliable General Laborer to support our construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll work closely with carpenters, operators, and other crew members to handle various on-site tasks, maintain a clean jobsite, and ensure safety standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear debris, remove hazards, and organize tools and materials to keep the work area safe.
- Load, unload, and transport building materials (lumber, concrete bags, tools, etc.) around the site.
- Support carpenters and other trades by holding materials in place, setting up workstations, and performing minor tasks.
- Use basic hand and power tools (such as shovels, hammers, drills) safely and responsibly.
- Perform routine checks on tools and equipment, reporting any issues or needed repairs promptly.
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies to help maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Work well with others and communicate effectively to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks as project needs evolve.
- Maintain accurate counts of materials and supplies and stay alert to prevent errors or accidents.
- Familiarity with jobsite practices and safety procedures is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
