If you are a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) looking to take your career to the next level, the Associate position is ideal. Associates play a vital role at Doyenne, collaborating with analysts, operations, and the advisory team, while providing critical client support. We are looking for motivated candidates who are eager to build upon their knowledge of holistic financial planning and client service, from a fiduciary, client‐aligned perspective. We want someone who has a passion for planning and the adeptness for accuracy and thoroughness, and who is curious and empathetic toward both colleagues and clients.
Day-to-day, this position entails:
- A broad scope of financial planning topics including investments, estate planning, taxes, cash flow, retirement planning, charitable giving, etc.
- Regular client contact, acting as an additional resource for the client and advisor
- Reviewing and completing customized client meeting materials
- Preparing investment and broader planning recommendations
- Creating long-term projections for clients and families using eMoney
- Preparing follow up summaries, planning actions and transaction reviews and approvals
- Participating in various internal working groups
- Participating in various projects and presentations
To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate:
- Strong analytical skills, interest, and aptitude
- Attention to detail resulting in executing work with consistency and accuracy
- A deep understanding of personal finance, accounting, and economics
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- The capacity to prioritize workflow and manage deadlines
- The ability to work efficiently, compassionately, and collaboratively in a team-based setting
- A high-level of Excel experience required
- Experience with Advisor Engine, Tamarac, Canoe, and eMoney a plus
- Desire to seek client-facing advisory path
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- A bachelor’s degree from a competitive university
- Three to five years post-CFP financial planning experience

Doyenne’s home office is in an amenities-rich building in downtown Chicago. You will be provided with in-person and virtual training. Compensation will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
