Salary : $160,000 to $180,000
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Director of Finance at The Dupont Circle Hotel. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of our business. Reporting directly to the General Manager and with a dotted line to Group Finance, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, accounting, and budgeting, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the hotel. You will also work closely with the wider Finance team, led by the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Strategy & Planning - Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans aligned with the Hotel’s goals
- Tax, Insurance & 401K – Manage all aspects of Real Estate Tax, company health insurance programme and the annual filings, payment an audit of 401K
- Financial Management – oversee the day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commission and cash management
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic revenue, expense and profitability targets
- Financial Reporting & Analysis – prepare management accounts and financial analysis
- Payroll – management of all payroll administration, processing and auditing, management of the relationship with the external payroll provider
- Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train and mentor a high performing finance team
