Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel involved in the project.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial efficiency throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Utilize HeavyBid for accurate bidding processes and project cost estimation.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using construction management software, including ProCore and Primavera.
- Experience with budgeting processes and financial oversight in construction projects.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety compliance.
