About the Position:
Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in New York. This person will manage vendor remittances, customer payables and assist in clerical duties on auction days. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and wishes to work in a fast-paced, exciting industry. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills. Full-time, in-house position. Responsibilities include:
- Billing, remittances and filing
- Auditing assistance
- Verifying payments with source documents/invoices/Positive Pay
- Facilitating consignor accounts payable by check or bank transfer
- Maintaining company vehicles registration/insurance/fines
- Assist with sale day activities online bid clerking, equipment setup and phone bidding
- Assist with various licensing requirements for all offices
- Assist with data processing
Requirements:
- Familiarity with general ledger coding and bill payment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work graciously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work across multiple database platforms
- Prior experience with Accounts Payable
