Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic

 We are currently seeking ​an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles. we are a multiple location shop in new Milford Nj with a great team looking to add another great team member. both of our locations have heat and air conditioning. we pay our techs a salary not a flat rate. plus, a weekly bonus.

TECHNICIAN OVERVIEW

·         Accurately and efficiently diagnose and repair vehicles.

·         Perform quality inspections to inform our clients of potential issues current or in the future

·         Treat other employees and our clients with respect

·         Keep workspace clean and neat

·         Communicate with other employees and service writer efficiently.

·         Technician must maintain a clean driver license .

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILTY

·         Perform general vehicle diagnostics using vehicle service information and diagnostic tools to accurately assess client concerns

·         Document needed repairs via digital multi point inspection and communicate with service advisor to advise needed parts and time for repairs

·         Perform general maintenance of vehicles including but not limited too , fluid changes, oil changes, brakes and suspension, light diagnostics , camshafts and timing chains/belts, swap transmissions and engines

·         Provide clients with accurate diagnostics of engine concerns, check engine lights, suspension noises and electrical faults.

·         Keep workspace clean and neat

·         Communicate with clients directly when needed (road test to identify client concerns)

·         advise management of missing or damaged equipment or equipment that is needed to make life easier for the team.
