Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB : Associate provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the PFS department. Opens, sorts, scans, and distributes all incoming patient and insurance correspondence,and payer remittances. Ensures that all documents are properly stored and easily retrievable. Customer Service, greeting and directing patients, employees, vendors , answering phone calls, retrieving voicemail messages and directing to the appropriate staff member. Printing patient statements, processing envelope stuffing mailing machine to prepare for mailing.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy

- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (Maximum of 6)
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail to the PFS department
- Customer Service: greeting and directing patients, employees, vendors
- Answering phone and retrieving voicemail messages
- Printing patient statements, processing envelope stuffing mailing machine
- Order supplies and anticipate department usage by maintaining adequate inventory
- Carry out responsibilities with adherence to professional standards, a commitment to performance improvement, and an interest in professional growth and development.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
