Job Description :
- PURPOSE OF JOB : To complete an accurate patient registration for Emergency department services
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Accurately identify the patient and select the patient's medical record
- Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields with patient
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service using automated resources and document accurately
- Identify and collect patient's copayment for Emergency services as applicable
5. Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications :
B. Experience : Hospital / Insurance experience preferred
C. Other Skills : Excellent Customer Service Skills
Negotiation and Problem Solving Skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
