PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for the coordination and administration of Therapy Services for Home Health Care patients. Responsible for supervision of Home Health Care Therapy Associates and coordination with Home Health Care Therapy contract Associates. Render services with respect to appropriate specific chronological age, developmental age or social maturity of the patients.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Departmental Budget: As a member of Doylestown Health's leadership team who is responsible for budget, this position will adhere to the Health System's budget process to include planning, facilitating communication and coordination across the Doylestown Health System. As well as allocation of resources, controlling expenses and will be accountable for all budget variances.
- Associate Retention: As a member of Doylestown Health's leadership team, this position will act with integrity and emotional intelligence. The way a leader treats their Associates can have a profound impact on Associate's loyalty and retention. Leaders can positively impact Associate retention by creating a positive, empowering environment.
- Responsible for supervision, quality, clinical guidance, counseling, orientation, performance appraisal, professional development of Home Health Care therapists with a focus on patient safety and positive patient outcomes.
- Responsible for the coordination of activities, and development and implementation of policies related to maintaining certification and accreditation status as they pertain to rehab services, and actively participates in departmental quality initiatives.
- Communicates, problem solves and manages issues and complaints from patients and families, healthcare professionals, and team members with input from Director in order to achieve excellence in patient care.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of PA.
CPR required
B. Experience: Three years clinical experience with a minimum of one year in Home Health.
One to three years management experience desirable. Basic computer knowledge.
