Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB : A non-exempt position responsible for assisting, developing and implementing HUMAN clinical research studies. Participate in the initiation, maintenance, completion and reporting of clinical studies in accordance with DH Research Standard Operating Procedures.

- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform diversity of administrative duties to provide assistance to Research Coordinators in achieving protocol objectives. Maintain office supplies, and other duties as required
- Assist the Grants Administrator with the maintenance of all financial records and patient databases
- Responsible for preparation of essential documents
- Functions as the liaison to protocol specific Institutional Review Boards assisting with the preparation and submission of IRB and regulatory documents.
- Oversee the tracking of time sensitive Human Protection trainings, licensure and CV documents, as well as, the Shared Investigator Platform for all research activities within the Institution
- Promotes Safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines and Joint Commission National Patient safety Goals
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: High School Diploma, some technical training in health care, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Skill in written and verbal communication
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and computers skills
- Attention to detail and organization a must
- Knowledge of medical terminology and general knowledge of disease management in cardiology
- Knowledge of clinical trials regulatory requirements helpful
- Ability to identify problems, recommends solutions, organize and analyze information Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, physicians and the public
- Ability to work complete work prior to deadline date, communicate and present information
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply clinic policies and procedures
- Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities
