The Contract Compliance Coordinator serves as the federal contract specialist on behalf of Doyon Utilities by assisting in the oversite of the Utility's Defense Logistics Agency utility privatization contracts. Duties include analyzing contract documents and engaging with employees throughout the organization to ensure and track compliance. The Contract Compliance Coordinator also advises senior management on adherence to contract requirements and procedures. In addition to serving as the contract specialist, the Contract Compliance Coordinator is responsible for regular engagement with customers both in-person and in-writing.

This is an in-person position located in Fairbanks, Alaska

What you will do
- Follow compliance procedures to ensure contract deliverables are prepared and submitted in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in drafting contract modifications that will align current practices with contract requirements.
- Create and maintain a conformed copy of the three DLA Utility Privatization Contracts.
- Develop, implement and evaluate internal government contract compliance reviews.
- Coordinate and actively participate in external periodic management reviews, post conveyance reviews and other meetings with government personnel.
- Act as a Doyon Utilities contact for submittal of written correspondence and information requests to the government.
- Review DU written correspondence to government personnel to ensure consistency with messaging and accuracy.
- Regularly and actively engage government personnel to identify and remedy potential issues quickly and to ensure alignment between customer expectations and Doyon Utilities’ actions.
- Manage timely response to customer inquiries and requests.
- Participate in rate case and settlement discussions as part of the preparation and negotiation team.
- Complete administrative tasks associated with sending monthly reports and agendas, updating the compliance database, and review of closeout packages for accuracy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field. DU will consider experience in lieu of a formal degree. Preferred
- 4 years in contract administration or advanced level administration/management with a history of progressive advancement. Required
