Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialistwill play a pivotal role in our organization’s growth by sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled craft professionals while also providing support for corporate hiring needs as required. This position will require a passion for recruiting, a deep understanding of the electrical or construction industry, and the ability to connect and build relationships with top talent.
Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the field recruitment and sourcing processes and strategies based on the available talent, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Conduct phone screens with applicants and select qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews; oversees preparation of the interview including written and hands on assessments.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers.
- Collaborates with hiring managers and human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions along with hiring criteria.
- Assists with job posting and job advertisement process.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employments laws and regulations, and compliancy policies.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements initiatives and processes to retain top talent.
- Attends and participates in career fairs and other recruiting events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
