Work arrangement:
- Onsite
- W2 position; 12 months
- The event reporting system (ERS) is a custom application built using the ASP.NET MVC 5 framework.
- The system tracks incidents for all five of the client’s secure facilities, contract alternative placements, and county offices.
- This project will include several updates to add functionality to this system.
- Add functionality to ERS to track responses and outcomes of incidents referred to management for handling.
- Create new user roles to ensure staff can only access the information needed for their specific job/role.
- Create user generated reports and a live dashboard to make data and information more readily available.
- Document management solution for storing documents associated with incidents and investigations.
- The management system is built on the ASP.NET framework with C#.
- The system logs all youth referred to client and records their legal history and services provided through supervision.
- This project will include several system updates and begin migration to a newer platform.
- Participate in design and development meetings
- Complete assigned development tasks within the required timeframe
- Communicate regularly with management to provide updates and report roadblocks
- Maintain task list to document work in progress and work completed
- Thorough documentation at the code level and user level
- MS SQL
- Ability to analyze and document, business and system processes using various methods and tools.

- Visual Basic .NET (VB.NET)
- MS MVC Framework
- Comprehensive knowledge of system architecture (design and maintenance) in the Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 5 framework environment. C#.NET or VB.NET programming language.
- Experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to complex problems
- Must be able to work independently and keep management informed of progress. Be able to provide project resource estimates and adhere to project schedules and deadlines. The position requires discretion, confidentiality and decisiveness.
- Must be capable of working in an environment with incarcerated juveniles.
- Microsoft SQL Server Database Experience and familiarity with SQL Reporting
- An associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in Microsoft .NET application development
