Position summary :
The Python Developer will work with building a Combined Edit Module (CCEM) for the dental edits in Python.Ensure data is passed through the existing system via Java and then to the host mainframe.Coding for edits using X12 / TR3 layout.The Developer will not be doing mainframe coding. Responsible for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex applications tasks and projects. The Front End System team is 15 in size, growing to 25, and supports several CMS initiatives with main focus being new development with Python.The team has no experience with Python so they are looking for strong Python developers. Will hire 5 Python developers for this effort with goal to keep 2 developers on full-time after project completion in May 2025.Knowing Java would be a plus as we will seek to migrate Java code to Python in the future and possibly shifting to cloud technologies.Open to learning new technologies.Required education / equivalencies :
