Key Accountabilities
- Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
- Report Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and other documents
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data, and updating models
- Spreadsheet Management: Managing and maintaining spreadsheets for financial data and analysis
- Accounting Tasks: Assisting with accounting work, such as reconciling accounts and processing transactions
- Market Research: Conducting market research and gathering information on financial instruments and trends
- Clerical Tasks: Performing basic clerical duties, such as filing and organizing documents
- Project Support: Supporting finance team members with various projects and tasks
- Learning and Development: Gaining practical experience in the financial sector and developing skills
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for data analysis and problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in financial data and reports.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve problems related to financial data and processes.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts: Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial ratios.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hands-on experience in finance deliverables within a corporate environment
- Insight into the intersection of finance and supply chain management, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements
