To lead and oversee the company’s security compliance, policies, and procedures globally within the Contract Logistics Capabilities. This includes ensuring that the security requirements of Global Key Account customers and Group Security are effectively implemented, meeting both regulatory and customer standards for existing and new sites within the Contract Logistics Capabilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
To lead and oversee the company’s security compliance, policies, and procedures globally within the Contract Logistics Capabilities. This includes ensuring that the security requirements of Global Key Account customers and Group Security are effectively implemented, meeting both regulatory and customer standards for existing and new sites within the Contract Logistics Capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and maintain management focus on security across the CL vertical globally.
- Develop and oversee policies and programs to mitigate compliance, operational, strategic, financial, and reputational security risks, ensuring the protection of people, intellectual assets, and tangible property.
- Ensure all sites comply with DP World Group Security policies and standards.
- Implement and manage a global risk management program for the CL vertical, ensuring alignment with Group Security, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate and execute a comprehensive site audit program to hold Site Management and Security providers accountable for maintaining required procedures, escalating risks to Regional Management when necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships, communication, and reporting with Security Points of Contact (POCs) for key global accountsConduct site visits and audits as per the approved annual program.
- Support the Business Development function by preparing budgets, quotations, and material requirements for new business opportunities, and maintaining standard costing templates.
- Monitor compliance with state, federal, and industry legislative requirements within the Security function.
- Collaborate with Regional Security teams to provide technical support, communication, and reporting.
- Oversee global security systems projects, including monitoring, implementation, and reporting progress.
- Support the development and implementation of Group Security Standards related to security systems.
- Plan, budget, design, and manage assigned security systems projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in security systems and recommend best practices to enhance risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report data related to compliance, risk, and incidents for the CL vertical globally, adhering to agreed timelines and templates.
- Foster a security-conscious culture and raise awareness across the CL vertical globally.
- Provide guidance, support, and knowledge transfer to newly established regions, ensuring alignment with global customer policies and requirements.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting and demonstrating behaviours aligned with DP World’s principles, values, and culture.
- Ensure the highest safety standards in all activities and adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- College or university degree or equivalent experience
- Lean Six Sigma certifications
- Certified auditor for ISO standard and/or TAPA standards
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD or any other security system design tools
- Have a minimum 15 years management experience in similar roles in a multinational environment
- Strong experience with the development and oversight of policies and programs intended for the mitigation and/or reduction of compliance, operational, strategic, financial and reputational security risk strategies relating to the protection of people, intellectual assets and tangible property;
- In depth technical knowledge of the physical security systems.
- Strong experience in TAPA A FSR, TSR & PSR and CTPAT and ISO requirements;
- Proficiency with Audit and Risk Assessment functions;
- Have a strong understanding on all aspects of Site and Freight Security, including site security process, uniformed guarding, security design, equipment and remote monitoring. Site security process covers both security of product, and of the building, equipment and company property;
- Experience within supply chain, contract logistics, warehousing of technology and automotive industries
- Definite asset: Experience with state-of-the-art security systems;
