What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst position at DP World?
- Preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns and related schedules for accuracy and completeness
- Determination and preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated income tax payments
- Determination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual sales and use tax returns
- Preparation of annual personal property tax returns
- Assist in preparation of semi-annual U.S. federal and state income tax provision
- Conduct tax-related research and analysis to identify potential tax issues and opportunities
- Assist in various income and non-income tax projects
- Apply a forward-thinking approach to continuous process improvement and increased efficiency
- Involvement with challenging tax issues and planning opportunities
- Support for tax audits as they arise in various jurisdictions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Strong MS Excel
- Strong tax research skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- CPA preferred but not required
- CORPTax, SAP, Oracle experience a strong plus
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
