Customer Service Team Member
Overview
This position is the heart of our relentless pursuit to provide the highest quality product to our customers. Our product is more than just a microphone however, it’s also the high attention to customer satisfaction that our customer service team brings to each and every transaction. This position has responsibility over customer interactions – both over email and on the phone, as well as ensuring customer orders are entered into our system in a precise and timely manner. The Customer Service Team Member reports directly to the Customer Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service via phone and email
- Answer phones and reply to customer email inquiries, including sending tracking numbers to our buyers
- Enter and confirm customer POs into our order processing system
- Determine which orders are ready to be fulfilled, picked, and shipped
- Perform stock checks for our remote, nation-wide sales team
- Quickly become an expert in our product mix by learning our unique product numbering system, understanding what parts are interchangeable with other units, and understanding appropriate product substitutions
- Assist with order picking based on volume
- Review all invoices daily before shipping carrier pick-ups
- Receive new product; this includes unpacking/sorting product, putting away product, facing and fronting existing product on shelves, and FIFO rotation
- Label/relabel, repackage, and add components upon receipt of product as necessary
- Assist with regular inventory counts
- Check in all customer returns
- Assist with shipping back-up as necessary
- Assist shipping with carrier claim processing and researching/resolving trouble shipments
- Assist other members of the customer service/shipping team with other duties as necessary
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in customer service
- Experience with both high-volume email and over-the-phone customer communication
- Advanced experience with QuickBooks (desktop enterprise) is strongly preferred
- Strong experience with Microsoft Outlook, plus Excel, Word, and Teams
In a Nutshell
You will be answering calls and assisting customers, answering email inquiries, communicating regularly with the US sales team over Microsoft Teams and email, entering customer purchase orders, and ensuring our shipping department has their inbox full! You will also be receiving, processing, and assisting the team with inventory.
Overall, you are responsible for ensuring:
- Our customers are taken care of and have a positive experience and perception of our company
- Orders are turned around as quickly as possible
- Shipping has precise, accurate information for each and every order
- Our production list is up-to-date with customer needs
- New inventory and customer returns are received and processed in a timely manner
- Inventory is correctly sorted, put away, and rotated to optimize flow for the business
Location: This position is in-person and is based in Longmont, CO
Travel: No travel is required
Pay: $19-21/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends, 8 hour shift
