Key Responsibilities
- Leadership:
- Develop team capabilities, set priorities, and ensure accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
- Test Strategy & Execution:
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and procedures for the Canyon project.
- Oversee execution of unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
- Ensure rigorous defect identification, logging, and resolution.
- Systems Integration:
- Coordinate end-to-end integration of system components to ensure seamless functionality.
- Identify and resolve integration issues in collaboration with development and engineering teams.
- Quality Assurance & High Level Attention to Detail:
- Maintain an obsessive focus on quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and project requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, and results.
- Generate regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the Test, SE, and Development teams.
- Communicate test outcomes and risks effectively to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 5 years in testing, integration, and systems engineering.
- 5 years in testing, integration, and systems engineering.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of various testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, and UAT).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, or similar).
- Familiarity with systems integration processes and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an organized, methodical approach to work.
