Salary Range: $125,000-$140,000
Summary: IT Business Analyst for Operations will be responsible for the daily support of Oracle Warehouse and Transportation applications, implementing new enhancements, and resolving any systems issues in these areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily support of Operations processes involving warehouse receiving and shipping activities in DPI’s Oracle E-Business ERP and Oracle Transportation Management Applications. The support involves core Oracle modules like Inventory, WMS, Shipping, Process Manufacturing, OTM and integration with other modules like Order Management, Purchasing and Financials
Monitor the inventory transactions and interfaces in the system and resolve any issues with stuck or error records related to sales order shipments, purchase receipts, inter-org transfers, move orders, OPM WIP jobs, let down replenishment, cycle counts and adjustments
Understand customized solutions implemented in Oracle for supporting DPI business processes in the area of Operations and support issues or change requests
Adhere to SLAs defined for support tickets in the Operations area. This includes urgent resolution of critical tickets during warehouse shifts after regular business hours
Support the financial month-end processes with activities like proactively monitoring the inventory interfaces and processing stuck transactions
Write simple SQL scripts to troubleshoot issues and generate custom data extract based on ad-hoc reporting requirements by business
Implement new enhancements in Oracle ERP system based on business initiatives, new projects and customer requirements
Discuss and gather business requirements, evaluate different solution options, provide recommendations and discuss with business users to finalize the optimal approach
Prepare detailed functional specifications document and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure time delivery of customized solutions
Document scenarios and test the application for quality assurance and compliance with business requirements
Validate the accuracy and integrity of Operations reporting dashboards and the underlying data extract used in Oracle Business Intelligence applications
Conduct workshops with business users to help them understand new functionality and enhancements, assist with testing and resolve any bugs/issues encountered during user acceptance testing
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple issues and projects and achieve timely resolution of service requests
Collaborate and communicate closely with business users and other DPI IT representatives to deliver prompt, and effective service
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings in support of DPI IT systems
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
At least 8 years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst or Oracle ERP consultant in Oracle Inventory and Warehouse domain
Minimum of 2 full Oracle implementation projects experience – from design to go-live – in the area of inventory, shipping, receiving and logistics
Solid understanding of core Oracle modules related to inventory management and their integration with other functions like Sales, Procurement and Finance
Proficient in implementing, configuring and supporting Oracle Inventory and WMS modules and defining rules and strategies for Put away, Letdown and Pick transactions
Experience with implementing, configuring and supporting Oracle Manufacturing module (either Discrete or Process) including defining of BOM/Formula, processing WIP jobs
Experience with Oracle Transportation Management – configuration of agents and dashboards, planning of inbound shipments and backhaul, EDI transactions with freight carriers for tender and acceptance of shipments and using Freight Transportation Intelligence for business analysis
Familiarity with use of telnet session to simulate the RF device user interface and perform the inventory transactions
Any experience with picking (pick release and pick confirm) and shipping interfaces between Oracle and 3rd party systems (non-Oracle WMS system or Voice assisted picking system) is a big plus
Knowledge of key schemas, base tables and interface tables used in the processing of inventory transactions and how they are linked
Ability to write simple SQL queries for troubleshooting data issues and to support ad hoc requests from business
Hybrid office/remote work model, must live within same Metropolitan Statistical Area as worksite located at 930 S. Rockefeller Ave, Ontario, CA 91761
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
