Position Overview
The HR Generalist will:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), LOA, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims.
- Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and termination processes.
- Contribute to HR projects such as compliance audits, policy updates, and training programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS while ensuring confidentiality.
This position is onsite at our corporate office in Colorado Springs, CO (near the airport) and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after full training and satisfactory performance.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Additional hours as needed to meet business deadlines and operational needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target (prorated during the first year based on hire date).

What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience, with a strong focus on benefits administration.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Expertise in employment laws and compliance (FMLA, CO FAMLI, ACA, COBRA, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills (required) for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred: ADP WorkforceNow
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are a plus.
