As a Test Equipment Maintenance Technician you will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on Semiconductor and Flat Panel manufacturing equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on the Semiconductor and Flat Panel toolsets (50%)
- Repair and recovery of manufacturing equipment after tool errors / faults (25%)
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical problems to root cause and prevention (20%)
- Working with Engineering in support of tool and Fab improvement projects (5%)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and concise written and verbal pass downs to on-coming shift
- Accurately and clearly document technical solutions
- Provide cross-training to ensure back-up capability
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associates Degree – Electronics, Electronics Technology, Electronics Engineering, AND
- 2 - 10 years Semiconductor equipment engineering, OR
- 2 - 10 years Flat panel display manufacturing / equipment engineering, OR
- 2 - 10 years Solar equipment engineering, OR
- 2 - 10 years Flexible display manufacturing / equipment engineering, OR
- 2 - 10 years Military experience in electronics, automotive, mechanics, RF radar or aircraft
Preferred Skills/Knowledge & Proficiency Level:
- Semiconductor manufacturing equipment repair and maintenance – HIGH
- Analyze equipment schematics for advanced troubleshooting of complex problems - HIGH
- Interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written communication – HIGH
- Software and database management skills – MEDIUM
- Understand blueprints, schematics, and work from written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision - HIGH
- Team orientated and ability to perform excellent work under difficult deadlines - HIGH
Work Environment:
- Office: 5% of job
- Clean Room/Fab: 85% of jo
- SubFab Room (mechanical, electrical, pumps): 10% of job
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Carrying up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Work Schedule:
- Shift: 2nd Shift = Mon – Fri 2pm to 10:30pm
- Overtime as business needs require
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $19.23 – 48.08 DOE shift differential (2nd or 3rd shift)
- Annual Bonus: 10% (prorated based on DOH)
- Sign-On Bonus: $1K net (terms and conditions apply)
- Vaccine Bonus: $100 gross when show HR on 1st day employment fully COVID vaccinate
