Dental Practice Manager – Maple Grove
At Dental Associates, we’re on a mission to provide quality dental care for everyone in the community and increase access to care. We value service and collaboration. We currently operate three dental practices, serving patients throughout the metro area. Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated Practice Manager. This position is a critical part of the Dental Associates team, serving our new practice in Maple Grove that we will be opening this year.
The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and operations of the practice. This is done through managing staff, planning meetings and evaluating performance and operational processes to meet practice objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a group dental practice staff while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Directly manage Patient Care Coordinators and Dental Assistants
- Support Clinicians
- Build and maintain culture of professionalism & accountability by holding yourself and team to practice standards
- Coach & develop staff through regular feedback and annual performance reviews
- Create work schedules that align with the needs of the practice
- Assist in hiring and training staff
- Implement Dental Associates practice protocols and procedures
- Communicate Group Practice standards and hold self and others accountable to ensure excellent patient service and support
- Serve as first point of contact for escalated patient and staff concerns
- Facilitate staff meetings; collaborate with leadership to determine agenda, issues to be addressed, etc.
- Engage in effective communication with staff and patients
- Manage facility and supplies, delegating responsibilities as needed
Qualifications & Competencies
- Experience in dental, as a Hygienist, Assistant or Administrator, with a passion for serving others
- Minimum of 3-5 years of dental management experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt communication style depending on audience
- Efficient at managing time and prioritizing responsibilities; able to follow systems and streamline work
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to maintain attention to detail
