This individual will ultimately verify and close out all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety and fire sprinkler scopes of a project. DPR Construction is seeking a Commissioning Manager with at least 8 years of experience commissioning large, technical projects, preferably those that are Mission Critical. This individual will ultimately verify and close out all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety and fire sprinkler scopes of a project. The Commissioning Manager will work closely with all members of the project team and will be responsible for the following:
- Commissioning and validation certification of project systems, including the turnover package.
- Deploying full commissioning plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations.
- Day to Day management of the commissioning process and the commissioning team for large data center project. Use of technology; BIM360 used to track all items.
- Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and the integration of same with mechanical/electrical/building systems.
- Good understanding of test and balance requirements.
- Good understanding of direct controls installations/integration (PLC controls).

- Ability to create and support team morale and build relationships.
- Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and good understanding of scheduling.
- 8 years of experience as a MEP coordinator, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required.
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
