Job Description
SurePods, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking hardworking, dedicated, and reliable Drywall Finisher and Hangers to join our Production team. This role requires install of drywall on the interior and structural wall frames we prefabricate for commercial construction projects. We have long-term work in the region and are looking for someone who can grow with the company. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following :

Taping, mudding, and sanding drywall finishes.Work under Area Leads and Shop Manager to carry out various tasks throughout the fabrication plant.Work with Quality Control, Leads, and peers to ensure the highest quality and understanding of maintaining a quality product.Work under direction to make structural repairs as needed to parts.Achieve production goals set while meeting all quality expectations.Continual training as needed to improve assembly procedures.Help create and maintain a positive, respectful and productive team, and company.Follow all policies including but not limited to safety, attendance, food and drink, equipment handling, and all others.Shop maintenance and cleaning as needed and instructed.Crosstrain and assist in various areas and job functions.Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow directions and ask appropriate questions.Strong listening and communication skills.Effective participation in team environment.General background of power and hand tools such as drills, grinders, chop saws and general construction tools.Ability to quickly read a tape measure down to 1 / 16".Flexibility to work overtime to meet production schedules.A willingness to acquire new skills and embrace emerging technologies.A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.Education and Experience
At least 2 years working for a manufacturing or construction company.Experience in lean manufacturing and / or construction is a plus.Physical Requirements
Monday to Friday with hours typically from 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm, occasionally OT as needed.This job involves walking, standing, bending, lifting, and stretching.Use of hands and fingers to hold, grasp, push, and lift items.Must be able to stand, bend, and use extension poles for sanding / spraying applications.Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lb. items including ability to lift overhead.Dust, noise, and heat are common working conditions.Occasional use of cleaning chemicals.DPR has been nationally recognized for its strong company culture, based on a well-defined purpose "We Exist to Build Great Things," and four core values : integrity, enjoyment, uniqueness and ever forward.
