What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Estimator position at DPR Construction?
Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking an electrical estimator with at least 5 years of experience on commercial construction projects. The electrical estimator will create estimates for commercial projects within our core markets : healthcare, advanced technology, bio-pharmaceutical and corporate office. The electrical estimators will work closely with the Orlando regional management team and all members of pre-costruction estimating team. This individual will be responsible for the following :
- Conceptual budgeting.
- Design development through construction document estimating (quantification and pricing).
- Interaction with subcontractor community.
- Presentation of estimates / budgets with owners / consultants.
- Preparation and analysis (scoping) of electrical bid packages.
