Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking a Mechanical QAQC Lead for an Advanced Tech fast-paced project.
This person will work closely with all members of the project team, as well as with the client, and third party vendors.
QAQC coordination
- Review submittals for coordination with respective trades and vendor requirements.
- Planning and scheduling equipment inspections that correlate with the project’s schedule.
- This is done by building a Micro schedule detailing all inspections. L2 Mechanical Leads should have a basic understanding of project scheduling
- Review documentation for completeness and to identify issues.
- Ensure equipment inspections are Right-The-First-Time (RTFT) through training trade partners to align with the clients Quality program
- Issue resolution by coordination with OFCI/MOFE leads, trade partners, client, 3rd parties, vendors
- Running schedule coordination meetings with the DPR & Trade Partner Production & Quality teams to align 3rd Party inspector priorities.
- Daily field walks to ensure production is on track and to review equipment installations.
- Must be integral part of OFCI/MOFE equipment leads to ensure vendors are onsite to complete documentation and issue resolution.
- Help align OFCI/MOFE leads on priorities as it relates to the Micro schedule.
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience in Mechanical Systems, Electrical, Controls, and BMS/EPMS experience is a plus
- Excellent listening and strong written and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to create and support team morale.
- Demonstrate understanding of building processes and systems.
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
- This position is salaried.
