The intent of this position is to provide leadership within the project team and includes having a full understanding of our quality approach including how it is implemented across the project lifecycle. This person will be responsible for, and expected to, speak out, effect change, be accountable, and drive our quality programs forward.
The expectation is to lead by example, roll up your sleeves and help. Inspire and motivate people and teams to engage in conversation, document expectations, and verify results. Advocate for quality engagement earlier in the process. Seek out and solicit participation from those most qualified and best suited to advance DPR quality initiatives.
This role requires working onsite with project teams, in person and/or virtually with preconstruction services, engaging with the operations, MEP, SPW, prefab groups, and the national quality leadership team. Understanding contract documents is essential, including but not limited to basis of design, drawings, specifications, trade standards, codes, etc.

Roles / Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the national quality team.
- Communicate and distribute relevant materials within the business unit work groups
- Request for Proposal (RFP) participation as necessary and appropriate
- Work with preconstruction teams and project planners before mobilization
- Engage with project teams
- Help the team define client, design consultant, and end user expectations
- Alignment of Contract Documents with those expectations
- Assist in developing Distinguishing Features (DF’s) and processes to track and execute them across the project life cycle
- Support teams to define and track all mock-up and first-of-kind requirements and strategies (visual, performance, and beneficial to stake holders)
- Help teams define acceptance criteria for the work, support the process for inspecting work, and support tracking and measuring quality issues in the field
- Facilitate trade partner engagement into our processes including how to procure the right quality approach from the market
- Identify and leverage data across projects
- Support the lessons learned by facilitating five why’s and cause mapping processes and appropriately share within the Business Unit and project teams
