Job Description
OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry. We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Regional Leader to direct three branches (San Diego, SoCal, Phoenix) in the Southwest region. We are seeking a detail oriented, team player with the ability to lead and motivate a successful team, build and leverage lasting relationships (internal and external) to achieve and exceed overall financial and performance goals. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishing KPI’s for each market.
- Hiring, motivating, and mentoring a successful team over various roles including branch managers, sales, and customer service.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with outside vendors and customers.
- Financials including cost control, billing, collections, and Monthly Status Reports.
- Cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Work with branch managers and internal customers to develop business plans with specific strategies on how to achieve.
- Leverage established best practices with OES National Operations and evaluate potential growth opportunities in the SW.
- Evaluate 3rd party sales strategies and align with OES Leadership on how to implement expansion plans in the SW market.
- Continuous evaluation of operational efficiencies (warehouse, order process, inventory, logistics, etc.
- Firm grasp of large project approach and strategies (OES onsite store).
- Evaluate how we can achieve greater efficiency by operating as a Region and not 3 independent branches.
- Entrepreneurial mindset using competitive advantage of information to seek and secure non-traditional opportunities.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of P&L and other key financial controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective leadership, motivational, and organizational skills.
- High level of accountability and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
- Strong attention to detail and well organized.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
Education and Experience
- Proven success in a sales and customer focused environment.
- 5 years of successful supervisory and business management experience.
- 5 years of construction equipment and/or supplies experience.
- Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel is expected within the region and annual meetings.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds if needed.
