DPR Construction is seeking an HRIS Consultant to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, as well as complete basic configuration tasks within Workday. This role includes, gathering and compiling user requirements by interviewing stakeholders developing test scenarios & test strategies and working with the Workday architect team members to understand and implement the technology solutions. Role also includes project management of small technology enhancement projects.
The HRIS Consultant will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions and be proactive about working with the business functional areas to look for new technologies to optimize business processes.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with functional People teams (Talent Acquisition, HR, Talent, Learning & Development) and the Technology team to support projects for internal customers Project roles may include requirements & scoping documentation, test scenario development & testing, configuration of system enhancements such as reports, notifications, business process updates & translations.
- Write and communicate technical requirements effectively to developers, solution architects, and stakeholders.
- Proactive interaction with business stakeholders to improve business processes, understand pain points and business priorities.
- Balance the priorities of a diverse group of stakeholders, while still delivering high quality products in consistent releases.
- Provide transparency and recommendations on project trade-offs, understanding and coordinating dependencies across multiple teams with competing priorities.
- Facilitate the ideation and development of new features and functionality around our products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, better utilization of resources, product enhancements, improved communications and faster issue resolution
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all functional documentation by constantly communicating with the business
- Maintain supporting documentation, training materials and testing documentation
- Research and recommend best industry standards and practices where applicable.
- Develop test strategies, test scenarios and coordinate testing where applicable
- Support in the coordinate across departments for review and testing of system releases and upgrades
- Assist with system configuration of new system functionality or enhancements/ break/ fix configuration of existing system set-up. Aid in troubleshooting of system issues.
- Should be able to create/ enhance advanced reports and develop calculated fields, as well as feel comfortable building & loading EIBs and standard Workday configuration tasks
- 3 Years Experience with Workday HCM & Qualtrics
- Strong Office365 experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Workday Pro Certified
- Advanced report writing & dashboard development capabilities preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a computer screen.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Occasional domestic travel, via airplane, will be required for meetings.
