Position Overview: The Home Appliances Delivery and Installation Helper supports the efficient and safe delivery, installation, and setup of household appliances. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and good customer service skills. The helper will work closely with a lead installer or technician and may assist with tasks such as loading and unloading appliances, transporting them to customer locations, and installing them according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery and Transportation:
• Assist in loading and unloading appliances from delivery trucks.
• Transport appliances to customer locations using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safe handling and prevent damage.
• Navigate routes efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Installation and Setup:
• Aid in the installation and setup of various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more.
• Follow manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines during installation.
• Perform basic setup tasks, such as connecting water lines, plugging in electrical cords, and leveling appliances.
• Customer Interaction:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns during delivery and installation.
• Demonstrate basic operational features of the appliances to customers, ensuring they understand how to use them safely and effectively.
• Maintenance and Safety:
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the delivery truck and customer premises.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and accidents during delivery and installation.
• Report any issues or damages encountered during the process to the lead installer or supervisor.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Assist with completing necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts, installation checklists, and customer feedback forms.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to the lead installer or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if driving is required).
• Basic knowledge of household appliances and their installation processes is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy appliances, often weighing up to 50-100 pounds.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Work Environment:

Pay: $180.00 per day
