Our Cary, NC office is looking for a BIM Coordinator that will be responsible for the BIM Standards, coordination, and implementation on a wide range of projects/phases and types. The BIM Coordinator will work in conjunction with the SR. BIM Manager working with the project teams, and the Project Execution Manager to design and implement project solutions for architects, engineers, and developing project Level BIM Execution Plans with PM and BIM Coordinators. REVIT/CAD/Plant 3D project set up, implementation and Arcadis standard management, manage family creation of complex systems and technology configuration, customization via scripting, and training both groups and individuals

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and run Design Model Coordination meetings
- Coordination with Discipline leads
- New Project Set up in Revit and Navisworks
- Create and model missing scope to aid in the coordination process
- Assist in the development of BIM Execution Plans
- Generate and present progress reports for coordination
- Work in our Project Management Platforms to solve problems and leverage the tools
- Produce photo-realistic renderings and animations
- Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and related BIM software
- Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD
- Familiarity with design applications such as BIM analytic tools, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, Dynamo and an innate ability to communicate the benefits of these components within an integrated building information model
- Articulate communicator able to convey BIM concepts to all levels of design and delivery professionals
- An entrepreneurial spirit who embraces change and constantly seeks out new opportunities for creativity and innovation
- Proven experience with progress reporting at all management levels
- Must possess at least 3 years of relevant experience with Revit and BIM Concepts and at least 3-7 years of design experience and BIM Coordination experience.
- Solid understanding of the execution of BIM on construction projects. High tech facility, Bio Pharma and Life Sciences or Chemical plant experience an advantage
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage a site-based team of detailers and model coordinators
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a working knowledge of Microsoft office Outlook, Excel & Word
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate and escalate issues to senior management
- Expert of 3D design packages - distinct advantages if proficient in (AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks).
- Familiarity with various MEP detailing software programs and building information modelling
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering P&IDs, layout drawings, and specifications
- Ability to lead with energy and handle pressured situations effectively to meet aggressive project schedules
- In-depth knowledge of space coordination and management, including an understanding of construction means and methods for piping, ducting and electrical systems
