Summary
Arcadis is seeking a MEP Estimator with advanced technology construction experience to join our Semiconductor sector. The Estimator will report directly to the Senior Estimator and assist in the preparation and tracking of activities on complex high-tech construction projects for a major microelectronics manufacturing client. Successful candidates will have experience working in industrial construction, preferably supporting advanced technology clientele, possess above average proficiency in MS Excel/MS Office Suite and Estimating software, and have strong communication skills.

Summary

Responsibilities
- Preparing and Issuing bid documents for vendors to price.
- Answering questions from vendors which may include tracking down information from design team.
- Evaluation of pricing for competitive bid openings for completeness of scope.
- Wrap up of vendor pricing into documents for submission to Client.
- Tracking and documenting the status of design packages and issuing to the trade partners once they reach design completion.
- Work with the Estimators to ensure that the correct trades are notified and being tracked for estimates.
- Track material and equipment through purchase.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience supporting industrial construction projects required, semiconductor projects preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel, and Estimating software platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to be diplomatic. Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.
- Diploma or Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred.
- Adhere to safety protocol, including working in active construction zones and clean room environments, which may include, but not limited to; clean room gowning, wear required PPE, work in confined spaces, climb stairs and ladders, cat walks, noise protection.
- Ability to provide valid work authorization for US employment.
