Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced BIM Project Manager to join our team in Boise, ID, supporting large, complex construction projects for a confidential semiconductor client. The successful candidate will oversee architectural, engineering, and construction functions for each project, coordinating project teams, managing client interactions, and controlling project changes. This role involves providing technical guidance on resource loading, especially for industrial high-tech manufacturing facilities, and ensuring successful project delivery in industries such as semiconductor, biotech, pharmaceutical, and nutraceuticals.
The BIM Project Manager will also be responsible for managing multi-discipline trade contractors, reviewing the project model, developing procedures, and ensuring effective space management and model coordination. This role requires hands-on involvement in site logistics, base build construction, and tools installation, with an emphasis on space coordination and being the primary point of contact for clients and trade contractors. A background in managing projects for cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fabs, or similar high-tech facilities is highly desirable.
This is a non-remote position requiring the candidate to be local or willing to relocate to Boise, ID.

Role accountabilities:
- Manage VDC/BIM employees and oversee project activities.
- Develop and maintain BIM project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Generate key KPI requirements for clients.
- Establish and monitor adherence to BIM standards for quality across job sites and meetings.
- Lead and coordinate regular stakeholder meetings to manage scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide expertise on local and owner standards, and other project requirements.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and strategic expansion.
- Advise project leadership on staffing and related issues during project setup.
- Conduct workshops and training to apply BIM in preconstruction and project activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner representatives.
- Develop knowledge of contract documents, 2D and 3D deliverables.
- Visit job sites to troubleshoot and resolve BIM-related issues.
- Establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and maintain client relationships.
- Develop project execution plans, including scope, schedule, communication, and software tools
- Collaborate with regional quality manager to develop project-specific quality plans.
- Identify and assess project risks and escalate as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related field, with 5 - 10 years of relevant experience, including direct experience supporting semiconductor basebuild construction.
- Proven track record managing all phases of a project (feasibility, procurement, execution, commissioning) and coordinating multi-discipline teams.
- 5 years of experience in an AEC/EPCM consultancy environment, preferably supporting high-tech projects like cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fabs, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of BIM execution, space coordination, construction methods for piping, ducting, electrical systems, and proficiency in design terminology.
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software (AutoCAD, CADworx, Revit, Navisworks), with the ability to read and understand engineering P&IDs, layout drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and work under pressure, with strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
