Position Summary:
The Executive Director of Partnerships and Innovation will provide leadership, management and deliver expected outcomes for the following offices: Charter Schools, Partnerships, Physical Health, and Student Affairs & Advocacy. The Executive Director will work across internal divisions and external organizations to ensure alignment with the District's Blueprint 2027 and Graduate Profile.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Must possess and provide evidence of a Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an institution accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools or an equivalent higher education agency
Master's Degree is preferred
School Level or District Level Administrative Certification is preferred
Experience:
Minumum of three (3) years of urban education experience, non-profit experience and/or foundation experience, including expertise with strategy execution, project management systems, the continuous improvement cycle and capacity building in the K-12 context.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing teams, projects or initiatives with evidence of success.
Minimum of three (3) years of School Level or District Level Administrative experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing workflows, managing resources, developing efficiencies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Sharepoint, and Teams
Prior experience developing and executing detailed project plans; strategic planning experience preferred
Position Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent of Partnerships and Innovation, the Executive Director of Partnerships and Innovation, will perform the following Essential Functions.
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership, management and accountability for the following offices: Partnerships, Physical Health, and Student Affairs & Advocacy.
Directly manage all tasks and projects related to the District's Charter Schools portfolio (authorization, reauthorization, accreditation, attend authorizer's meetings, MDE communication, etc.)
Develop strategic plans for each office under their supervision that align with the District's strategic priorities, build internal capacity and leverage external resources to provide the maximum benefit to the District's students, staff and families.
Implement and maintain an effective performance management system that includes Objectives, Key Results (OKR), metrics and key performance indicators (KPI's) to track and communicate performance.
Provide excellent internal/external customer service process/priorities that demonstrate efficiency, and the District's core values thorough follow-up and inquiry closure.
Evaluate and improve current systems and procedures to streamline processes, minimize duplication of efforts and redundancies, build capacity within district divisions and ensure alignment with school needs.
Work collaboratively and proactively across Central Office teams to ensure success of cross-functional projects.
Develop and implement partnership cultivation, support and celebration activities/events as needed.
Represent the District at various District related events.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Superintendent of Partnerships and Innovation.
