Doctors of Physical Therapy is searching for a full time Certified Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer is going to be utilized to provide injury management and injury prevention to a diverse population in the construction setting. ATC will be provided with a mobile ATC room (cargo van- complete with treatment table and supplies), and help reduce injuries on multiple job sites located throughout the Tracy/Stockton/Central Valley area.
Certified Athletic Trainer Responsibilities
Driving and responding to injuries in real time.
Treatment and Triage of on-site injuries
Following injury management protocols
Documentation of all injuries to the proper channels
Working closely with the medical director and other ATCs
Possible overnight/swing shifts paid at a premium when needed
Preventative Care
Education/Training Material for patient care
Certified Athletic Trainer Qualifications
**Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer**
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to be flexible if schedule changes due to injury response
BOC certified
CPR/AED/First Aid Certified
Preferred American Red Cross CPR/AED First Aid Instructor
