Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their experience.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with care.
- Assist customers with their purchases, including upselling items when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cashier area and kitchen as needed.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Prepare and package food items according to culinary guidelines.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with restocking as necessary.
- Resolve customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
