We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food items are handled and stored correctly.
- Support catering events by preparing menu items according to specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Participate in training sessions on culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.
- Experience working in a restaurant, catering service, or dietary department is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Pay: $12.01 - $13.71 per hour
