What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dish washer/clean up crew-part time- evenings/weekends/closings position at DQ Grill & Chill?
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, grills, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep and mop floors, clean bathrooms, take out trash
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment- must be 16 years old according to OHIO laws to clean kitchen equipment and close the store.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a kitchen, catering, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously/able lift 50 pounds/be on feet long periods of time/go in and out of coolers and freezers and hot kitchen areas
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the superviors
- Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
